Book Sale — Ruth Holley Library

On November 3, 1955, supportive city citizens elected officers and scheduled public meetings for The Friends of the Pikes Peak Library District and later incorporated in 1969 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. For 70 years, Friends have been and remain a constant advocate for the library. Today, with over 750 member families, the Friends sponsors and supports numerous programs, staff members, and events to further the work and community role of its libraries. Over the decades, Friends have a
